IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bode
Hall(Test)
June 5, 2007 – December 18, 2025
Bode Hall, the most delightful pie-maker this side of Ogden, has scooted off into the great bakery in the sky at the ripe age of 18. Born on June 5, 2007, and somehow managing to make us all older while he stayed forever young, he departed this world on December 18, 2025, leaving behind his iconic apple pie recipe that would make even Granny Smith herself shed a tear.
Bode was a natural-born kind of guy, the sort who could make a stranger feel like family faster than you could say “Hey, where’s the dessert?” His charm was matched only by his quick wit, and let’s be honest, his collection of rare books was bigger than a toddler's toy chest but far more sophisticated. He spent hours hunting through bookstores and auctions, proving that reading is cool—especially if it can accidentally impress your friends.
A proud graduate of XYZ University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Bode clearly took "accomplished" to a whole new level. In 2010, he snagged the Outstanding Academic Achievement award, which probably made his parents question why they didn't just get him an award-winning pie instead. Or maybe a trophy shaped like a book? Either way, very impressive, Bode.
As holidays approached and the scent of cinnamon wafted through the air, you'd find Bode in the kitchen, apron on and his famous apple pie in the oven, navigating age-old family recipes like a master chef. Family gatherings without his delectable dessert were like Christmas without a tree - just plain wrong. It was during those times that he truly shone, proving without a doubt that butter and love make everything taste better.
Left to navigate this world without his signature humor and pie-making skills are his sister Sarah Johnson, his brother-in-law Tom Johnson, and his close friend Rachel Lee. We have to admit that this trio is now burdened with the task of not only filling the giant void left by Bode but also trying to match his legendary laughter. Good luck with that!
Bode will be laid to rest in a grand ceremony at Tukios Funeral Home in Ogden, UT, on December 19, 2025, where people will gather not just to mourn but to share their favorite Bode stories and, hopefully, scoop up a few tips for making underrated desserts. 10:00 AM will commence pie reminiscing, with burial services to follow at 11:15 AM, because even in passing, Bode surely wouldn’t want to miss brunch.
Goodbye, Bode Hall! May your next chapter be filled with joy, laughter, and an unending supply of apples. We will remember you fondly, especially whenever we taste apple pie – just don't worry, we've got your recipe under lock and key (unlike that secret book of rare finds).
