Ethan’s journey through life was characterized by a spirited and adventurous spirit. Known for his successful career as an outlaw and cattle rustler across the western United States, he was a man who embraced his passions fully. Graduating from Layton High School in 2018, Ethan later attended Weber State University, although his education was sadly cut short before completion.
He possessed a joyful demeanor, always seeking out fun and wisdom in every experience. He approached life with a light heart, never taking things too seriously, which was reflected in his numerous hobbies and interests. From collecting firearms and perfecting his marksmanship to reveling in the great outdoors, Ethan found joy in working on projects in his shed. He was particularly fond of sports, had a love for basketball, and was a proud fan of the Boston Celtics and the Utah Jazz. History was also a passion of his, especially the events surrounding the Second World War.
Ethan cherished his role as a father, which was his proudest accomplishment. He is survived by his loving wife, Sariah Jones, and his son, J Audie Jones. He will also be deeply missed by his father, J Clark Jones, and mother, Jana Jones. His brothers, J Nick Jones and Charlie Jones, were close companions who shared in many of his adventures.
Ethan's legacy extends beyond his immediate family, as he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles Johnson and Ruth Johnson, as well as J Stephen Jones and Barbara Jones.
Above all else, Ethan was a devoted warrior for Christ, showcasing unwavering dedication to his Savior throughout his life.
Ethan Jones’ adventurous spirit, zest for life, and deep commitment to his faith will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him. His impact on those around him will undoubtedly resonate for years to come.
