Jack will be remembered as a loving man whose life was rooted in devotion to his family, his country, and his community.

Jack Bonelli passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on December 16, 1977, Jack will be remembered as a loving man whose life was rooted in devotion to his family, his country, and his community.

Jack was an Army veteran who served during Desert Storm, and he carried that spirit of service throughout his life. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and built a career in technology, working for 15 years at Batesville Casket Company and Tukios. In both his professional and personal life, he was known for his steady presence, commitment, and care for others.

Some of Jack’s favorite times were those spent with family and on the field coaching young athletes. He coached football at Batesville High School and also coached his sons’ soccer team, sharing his encouragement, leadership, and love of the game with those around him. Among his proudest accomplishments was winning a section title while coaching football at Batesville High School, a moment that reflected both his dedication and the lasting impact he made.

Above all, Jack will be remembered for his loving personality and for the way he gave of himself to the people and causes he cared about most. His life touched many through his kindness, his service, and the example he set.

Some of Jack’s favorite times were those spent with family and on the field coaching young athletes.

Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Bonelli, who shared his life and love. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bonelli, and his mother, Susan Bonelli. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him, and may his legacy of family, service, and community continue to be cherished.

The Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
