Peyton Cragun
(Test Obit)
April 13, 1900 – November 10, 2025
Peyton Cragun, affectionately known as "Peter" to those who truly understood his unique blend of humor and kindness, passed away on November 10, 2025, in Laie, Hawaii. Born on April 25, 1900, in Ogden, Utah, Peyton lived a life filled with laughter, love, and, of course, an impressive amount of running – because, let’s be honest, he just couldn't sit still long enough to enjoy a good couch potato session!
Peyton was an outstanding Account Manager for Tukios, where he excelled at the fine art of helping others while probably finding the time to throw in a joke or two. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Sales from Weber State, Peyton transformed his passion for making people happy into a career where he could bring smiles to faces daily. Those who knew him will forever cherish their memories of him being kindly goofy—and that’s saying something considering some of his jokes could make Dad’s old puns look like Oscar-worthy material.
His dedication didn’t end in the office. Peyton was not only an extraordinary runner who caught what he described as the “Ultra Marathon bug,” but also a warm-hearted family man. He made sure to keep his family close and his friends even closer, and during every family Disneyland trip or BYU Football game, he would always have everyone laughing. Let’s just say, no one ever passed up an invitation to the Annual Cragun Family Pie Party, if only to witness Peyton's masterful ability to consume pie faster than most people can say “pumpkin spice.”
In addition to his duties as the ultimate family member and laughter enthusiast, he spent countless hours outdoors, spreading joy and purposely tripping before they could land on their own feet. Running trails? Check! Swimming? Check! Climbing? Check! Golfing? Well, let’s just say he had a unique way of keeping the golf ball company in the bushes!
Peyton cherished the friendships he built along the way, with Bode Hall, Jake Youngberg, and Teague Muno earning the coveted title of his best friends—a title that surely came with a lifetime supply of jokes and adventures.
Above all, Peyton was known for being incredibly aware of those around him, always ready to brighten someone’s day. He would do anything to make sure everyone felt included and happy. His kindness radiated like sunshine, and even on a cloudy day, you could count on him to bring some brightness into your life.
Peyton leaves behind his loving family: Amber (Mother), Ryan (Father), Finley (Sister), and Gabriel (Brother), who will always remember the self-proclaimed "Goofy King" of the Cragun clan. While we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, we know he has undoubtedly already started a club in heaven focused on making angels smile—one silly joke at a time. Rest easy, Peter; you will be missed beyond measure, but never forgotten… and just for the record, we all still expect an invite to the next pie party up there!
