Rik J O'Neil, affectionately known as Rikito, passed away on June 7, 2067, in Utah, the place of his birth and the backdrop of a life filled with laughter, love, and boundless warmth. Born on September 20, 2004, Rikito’s journey spanned over six remarkable decades, during which he embodied the very essence of joy and brilliance.
From an early age, Rikito’s quick wit and infectious humor were his signature gifts to those around him. He graduated from junior high with a bright spark that would continue to shine throughout his life. To say he was funny would be a modest understatement; he possessed a rare talent for lighting up any room, making friends wherever he went, and weaving bonds that stood the test of time. His vibrant personality was a beacon of happiness, a testament to the loving and intelligent soul that he was.
Rikito’s life was rich with friendships, a reflection of the extraordinary kindness he extended to everyone he met. He was not only a loyal friend but also a beloved brother, survived by five brothers—Rick, Ricc, Ric, Ricky, and Riky—who each carry a piece of his spirit forward. Their shared memories speak of a brother who was as dependable as he was delightful, a man whose presence brought comfort and joy.
Though his father, Rickson, preceded him in death, Rikito’s legacy is one that transcends loss. He lived awesomely, loved deeply, and thought profoundly, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Rikito’s passing is mourned in the quiet spaces where laughter once echoed, yet his gleaming light endures, a cherished memory forever etched in the stories and smiles of his family and friends.
A visitation to honor Rik J O’Neil will be held on June 17, 2067, at the Tukios Funeral Home, located at 2326 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., a brief but heartfelt opportunity to celebrate a life well-lived and a soul who touched so many.
In remembering Rikito, we hold close the echo of his humor, the depth of his love, and the brilliance of his mind—an everlasting tribute to a truly extraordinary man.
